Helping one another can also be fun and humorous. The elderly lady was having a hard time standing on the elevator, and so the young man, laughing at the absurdity, got down on his hands and knees and made himself into a bench for her.

There is more value in laughing, and especially laughing together, than most people understand. Laughing with others at the absurdities of life is exceptionally healthful. It’s unlikely that people who cannot laugh, particularly at themselves, can be emotionally healthy.

Before returning to the mundane, please make a choice to find humor in the world – non-malicious humor – and especially in your own life. Learn to amuse yourself as you go through your days. You’ll be better-off for it.
