“Evolution” is a tremendously loaded word. The mere act of pulling it out inspires raw emotional responses. What we address here is not a theory of evolution, but actual evolution. Arguing about how things changed is grossly inferior to actually changing for the better.
I will begin by clearing this up a bit and by pointing out the fact that many people who promote the theory of evolution reflexively oppose actual evolution at the same time. Once we have that ground covered, we’ll examine the astonishing fact that humanity is evolving, and right before our eyes.
