Description
To address the knowledge of good and evil is to address the root cause of human error and suffering: the search for an essential why, and perhaps for the essential why.
The Bible sets this knowledge of good and evil (in Genesis chapter three) as the fundamental error that caused the “fall of man” and the subsequent millennia of human suffering. Decades ago it secured my attention for that reason. What has been shocking to me is that the knowledge of good and evil has either pulled me forward or was waiting for me once I was able to move forward, and a startling number of times. And this without me trying to include it.
