Whether or not it seems like it, we are heading into a decentralized civilization… into a decentralized world order. This will be a slow process, but the tectonic plates are already shifting and the landscape will follow. Good people will be far, far better off because of it. Bad people will not fare so well.
What I’ll be showing you in this short book is how a decentralized civilization will work on a day to day basis. As we do that, we’ll cover the “hard parts” (the operations that supposedly require centralization), and very directly. What I especially want for you to get from this is a feel for the decentralized way of life, and to understand that it is far superior from almost every standpoint.
What we’ll pass over are knee-jerk responses to the very idea of decentralization. We’ve had some 6,000 years of centralization and it has failed miserably from beginning to end; I’m not going to waste my time (and yours) on arguments that should have been dismissed last century.
